A Little about me

Keely McCormick is a UX/UI designer intent on improving the world one design at a time. Her first foray into design was at the young age of 12 when she designed and coded a website about the history of garden gnomes.

She then pivoted to making websites for nonprofits and political campaigns in California. She most recently designed a SAAS program to help organizations transition to zero-emission vehicles. Currently, she is freelancing and has created a mobile app and website (PetJet) to assist pet owners with the logistical and regulatory challenge of moving abroad with a pet.

Keely is trained in Figma, Miro, Uizard, and other design tools, and holds a UI/UX Design Certificate from Springboard. She graduated with honors with a B.A. in Environmental and Earth Sciences from Willamette University.

During university, she focused on her scientific side, graduating with honors with a B.A. in Environmental and Earth Sciences from Willamette University. She discovered a talent for simplifying complex scientific ideas into layman’s terms, a skill that’s proven useful in UX, which aims to communicate information clearly and understandably.

When she’s not designing, Keely enjoys biking around her neighborhood, meeting new people, and exploring new places, especially with her cat, Georgie.
